WHAT IS FSSAI FULL FORM OR FSSAI MEANING ?

FSSAI full form is the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) which is an autonomous body established under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.

Meaning of FSSAI

FSSAI is an authority to provide a food license to every food business in India. FSSAI makes sure that the food business runs with appropriate license and a quality check. The food businesses are required to follow the FSSAI rules and guidelines. FSSAI is in entirely responsible for setting the standard and principles and controls for the welfare of food businesses in India.

  • Registration - [Rs. 1699/-]

    Class 1 certificates shall be issued to individuals/private subscribers. These certificates will confirm that user's name (or alias) and E-mail address form an unambiguous subject within the Certifying Authorities database.


  • State - [Rs. 7999/-]

    These certificates will be issued for both business personnel and private individuals use. These certificates will confirm that the information in the application provided by the subscriber does not conflict with the information in well-recognized consumer databases.


  • Central Licence

    This certificate will be issued to individuals as well as organizations. As these are high assurance certificates, primarily intended for e-commerce applications, they shall be issued to individuals only on their personal (physical) appearance before the Certifying Authorities.

FSSAI - Food Safety and Standards Authority of India is an autonomous body established under the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India.     Suitable Form for ITR Filing

    ITR-1 (SAHAJ): resident and ordinarily resident (ROR) individuals having total income of up to ₹50 lakh, having income from salaries, one house property, income from other sources and agricultural income up to ₹5,000.

    Non-residents cannot file ITR-1, irrespective of their source or quantum of income.

    ITR-2: Individuals not having income from profits and gains of business or profession (who cannot use ITR-1).

    ITR-3: Individuals having income from profits and gains of business or profession.

    ITR-4 (SUGAM): Individuals, and firms (other than LLPs), being a resident, having total income up to ₹50 lakh and having income from business and profession computed under the presumptive taxation scheme.

    Due Date Extened for TDS Return

    Government has extended the due date for filing TDS return (Form 24Q) from 30th May 2019 to 30th June 2019 for all TDS deductors across India. The change in due date was announced to help deductors comply with changes to the Form 16 format.

    Please note that INC-22A is due on 15th June 2019 for all companies incorporated on or before 1.1.2018. Hence, kindly ensure that INC-22A [ACTIVE eForm] is filed for all companies in which you are a Director.
